David specializes in residential, condominium and multi-family properties in the Greater Portland area.
His clients range from first-time home buyers to seasoned investors. He splits his business roughly 50/50 between working with buyers and sellers. Benefit = he understands both sides of the market.
Extensive travel & previous career as a professional guide have made him an expert in thinking outside the box. He is constantly evaluating market conditions to create options and solutions for his clients.
David is committed to sustainability in both natural and built environments. He has earned multiple GREEN Designations on energy efficiency and sustainability. David has also sold LEED Certified homes, including Redfern Homes' LEED Platinum "Redfern House" (www.redfernhomes.com).
When he is not in the office David can be found playing in the outdoors - enjoying all four seasons in the ocean or mountains - windsurfing, kayaking, surfing, or mountain biking. As a lifelong skier, he considers Sugarloaf his 2nd home. He is passionate about the outdoors and loves to travel for adventure!
Since 2019, David has proudly served on the Board of Trustees for Portland Trails. He was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Maine Association of Realtors in 2022. He is also an active member of the Rental Housing Alliance of Southern Maine.
David has been a landlord for 30 years and has been buying and selling real estate in Greater Portland since 1990. He resides in Portland with his wife, Honour Mack, a professional artist, their daughter, Olivia, and faithful canine companion, Arlo.
